Christmas at the Lake is now taking exhibitor applications for 2026
Christmas at the Lake, a cozy craft fair in the heart of the Saanich peninsula, welcomes over 1,000 guests to the Prospect Lake Hall in a busy 6 hours. This one-day fair offers 31 inside tables, 14 outside spaces and 2 food truck areas. The community volunteers who host Christmas at the Lake work hard to make it ‘the best little show on the peninsula’. This is a fundraiser for the Prospect Lake Community Association; proceeds help to maintain the heritage Prospect Lake Hall, one of the last community owned halls in BC. See below for a new approach for 2026.

Jurying Process: The jurying group begins with category allocations for inside tables (e.g. wood-2 tables) then sorts applicants into their categories and finally fills the allocated spaces to create a varied and interesting mix for the guests. Because our space only allows 31 inside locations and we need to keep the fair fresh and we wish to support new and diverse vendors, this year we will start rotating exhibitors. This means that some long-time exhibitors will be asked to take a few years off, so we can establish an optimal balance of familiar and new exhibitors, and so that their product will be novel again when they return.
Booth Fee: Submit your application without the fee. Successful applicants will have a month to submit their booth fee after jurying.
